Kapit Trip - Day 07 - My last day at Mujong...

My last day at my cousin's school. As early as 7am me and a few other staff were already at the jetty as the only longboat will depart for Kapit. My cousin and a number of other staff waves a good bye.

..we make our stop here at a floating grocery store, to top up the fuel

..then we continue our journey...

..and here at the intersection, exists a road system which connect the area to Kapit, so part of the passenger from the longboat decided to have a try on the land transport...

...so we continue our boat journey to Kapit with less load...

Kapit Trip - Day 08 - Going back to Sibu.....

The last day i am at small Kapit town. Taking time to capture more picture while waiting for express boat scheduled to depart on 10am.

..i was standing at the jetty when i saw these two man having a difficulty moving and rearranging their longboat..i believe the longboat must have been there when they tied it during high tide and becomes grounded as the water river drew of low tide...

..the express boat which will bring me to Sibu...scheduled to depart at 10am...


..so while waiting for other passengers, i took some time to capture the inside of the boat...this is the view of so called economy class, costs RM20(US$ 5.50) per-person per-trip from Kapit to Sibu

..the one i am in....2nd class, costs RM25 (US$ 7)

....VIP or Special Class

..with electronic massage chair and better AV system...RM30 (US$8.50)

Kapit Trip - Day 09 - Journey back to Kuching....

After getting my car from my cousin's living quarters, i start my lonely car journey back to Kuching city...while there, he brought around the Sibu town....

..sibu is well known for its cheap food...and most of the delicacy can be found at night market
